The uptime command shows the amount of time since the pc has been started or has been rebootet. It also shows the load average which is the percentage of CPU usage for all cores. Example: If your CPU has 4 cores, then a load average of 1.0 indicates that 1/4 of the cpu ressources are used, a load average of 4.0 would indicate 100% CPU usage in our example.

Debian Uptime Command

Open the Terminal by searching in the dash of your Debian 10 Desktop and execute the following command,

uptime
